Robert "Robbie" Hamer Floyd MARION - Robert "Robbie" Hamer Floyd, 57, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at home after an illness. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Dillon First Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends Friday, September 21 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home of Marion. Mr. Floyd was born in Florence, a son of the late Laurens Wilson Floyd and Margaret Louise Hamer Floyd. He is also predeceased by a sister, Margaret Louise Floyd. Robbie was a graduate of Clemson University and a retired restaurant manager. Surviving are his wife, Betty G. Floyd, of the home; son, Robert Hamer Floyd, Jr. of Clemson; daughters, Margaret Hamer Floyd of Columbia and Elizabeth Gunn Floyd of Charleston, SC; brother, Laurens Wilson Floyd, Jr. (Charlene) of Sumter; sister, Julia Marion Floyd of Pawley's Island; mother-in-law Catherine "Kate" Gunn of Mullins; and step-mother Anne H.
