Roberson Osborne, died Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg/Calhoun counties. Born May 16, 1961, in Manning, he was a son of Nina Scurry O. Miles Barnes and the late Keith C. Osborne Sr. He retired from Coca-Cola Consolidated after more than 41 years of service and was currently employed as a maintenance technician with Sumter School District. He was a devoted husband and the best father. Buddy loved to fish and play cards and made a friend out of everyone. Survivors in addition to his wife of 30 years and his mother include three children, Keith C. "K.C." Osborne III, Skyler C. Wynne (Jackson) and Dillon C. Osborne, all of Sumter; five grandchildren, Karlyn C. Williams, Lane Osborne, Cameron Owens, Kylie Osborne and Jax Wynne; one brother, Todd Osborne (Lori) of Sarasota, Florida; one sister, Chris O. Feutral (Chuck) of Lincolnton, Georgia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Horace O. Roberson and Shirley Roberson of Sumter; and a number of other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sammy Geddings officiating. A private burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Lee Barnes, Oneal Roberson, Phillip Schaller, Bill Wildes, Keaton Wildes and Karsen Wildes. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home.
