| HIST | of Lake City, South Carolina DOROTHY BAKER MOORE Posted Tuesday, January 9, 2018 6:00 am LAKE CITY - Dorothy Baker Moore, age 84, widow of Robert Lewis Moore, passed away early Sunday morning, Jan. 7, 2018, after a lengthy time spent in the hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Olanta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Floyd Funeral Home. She is survived by her sons, Gregg Moore (Ginger), Stanly Moore (Jane) and Doug Moore (Deborah); grandchildren, Clyde Moore, Marianne Moore, Lizabeth Moore and Anna Moore Dawsey; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Carly, Stevens, Liza and Clara; sisters, Sylvia Floyd of Sumter and Ruth Floyd of Winnsboro; a brother, Legrand Baker of Sumter. She is also survived by her caretaker and longtime friend, Annie McElveen (Charles); and dozens of nieces and nephews scattered all across the United States. She will be missed by a host of young people in the community who referred to her as "Aunt Dot," "Mama Dot" or "Miss Dot." As a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Church, it was Dot's wish that memorials be made to either Olanta Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 647, Olanta, SC 29114 or Lake City Presbyterian Church, P.O.
