Timmons, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at a local nursing facility. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Ruth Lawrence Brown and Estell Coulter Brown. Mrs. Timmons was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy A. Timmons (Linda) of Rembert and Randy W. Timmons (Sue) of Sumter; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Randy W. "Bubba" Timmons Jr. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses-East Congregation, East Calhoun Street, with Victor Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of her granddaughter, Rebecca Ingram. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements. [2] | |
