Morris, died on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Palmetto Health Tuomey. Born in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Mary Ruth Brewer Dennis. Mrs. Morris was a member of Sumter Baptist Temple. She retired from B-D after 38 years of service. She enjoyed sewing and baking. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 42 years; two children, Henry A. Morris (Terri) of Dalzell and Michelle Morris of Sumter; three grandchildren, Katelyn, Austin and Logan; one sister, Sandra "Sandy" Smith (Cecil); one brother, Ricky Dennis; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Lance Morris; and one brother, Bill Dennis. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service on Saturday at the home, 725 Colony Road. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.  [1, 4, 5]
