Born in Florence, SC, on March 13, 1948, he was a son of the late William Green DesChamps, Jr. and the late Elizabeth DuVall DesChamps. Bill enjoyed being outside in nature and taking long walks on his friend's farm. He liked gardening, was an avid reader, and most of all spending time with his loving family and friends. He was most fascinated and interested in his great nephews and his great niece. He was an accomplished pianist and spent much time playing and listening to classical music. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Kinsey DesChamps; brother, Carroll Green (Cindy) DesChamps II.
