He is survived by his brothers, Dr. Kenneth L. Currie of Bishopville and Martin Clarke Currie of New Orleans. He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. Currie Jr. and Elisabeth R. Currie. Services will be private. The family asks that any memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 107 E. Liberty St., Sumter, SC 29150 in honor of Stephen and to the glory of God. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements. [1, 2, 3] | |
