Notes	one of 70 to enter Colony of Virginia with Alex Ross and Morgan Bryan received a patent from George II for 294 acres received a grant for 250 acres. Grant 213 acres beginning at s. side of the creek and extending to the west side of Beaver Dam Swamp. Grant 400 acres on Luney's Mill Creek. grant 160 acres a grant of 250 acres He built Looney's Fort in July 1755 Found a record written by a desc. who said she believes Robert and Elizabeth are buried at Reed's Creek. When I found a record of Reed Creek if the PLACE NAMES OF VA "Reed Creek flows from northwest corner to southeast corner, tributary of New River. Derived its name from James Reed, at Dublin, VA in Wythe County" Wythe county wasn't established until 1789, so was Augusta Co before that. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS; for some of Robert's desc, I have taken info from lines of his desc on Ancestry. Most of these people I have contacted for thier documentation, but some have not yet responded.
