The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Catherine Holt Shine and the late Daniel Bowden Shine of Latta, and James Edward Gamble Jr. and the late Margaret Jones Gamble of Manning. She graduated from Manning High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Coastal Carolina University and a master of education degree from Clemson University. She is employed by Sumter School District 17 as the school counselor at Crosswell Drive Elementary School. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Vera Howle Moore and the late John Moore of Manning, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bodenheimer of Davis Station and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Briley of Statesboro. He graduated from Manning High School and plans to graduate from the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy in the spring of 2006. He is employed as a sheriff's deputy with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Department. The wedding is planned for April 8, 2006, at Manning United Methodist Church.
