BROADWAY Posted Tuesday, April 11, 2017 6:00 am MANNING - Cornelia "Carnelia" Elizabeth Tilton Broadway, 64, widow of Wayne Broadway, died on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at McCoy Memorial Nursing Center in Bishopville. Born on July 4, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Betty Cox Tilton. She was a member of Cypress Fork Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Steven Broadway of Manning; two daughters, Frances Cassidy of Sumter and Angela Broadway of Manning; nine grandchildren, Kristen Hartley, Wade Rhodus, Brody Rhodus, Trey Hartley, Breanna Rhodus, Terran Atkinson, Lizzie Broadway, Christian Broadway and Jacob Broadway; one great-grandchild, Olivia Grace Rhodus; two brothers, Tony Tilton and Patrick Tilton, both of Manning; and five sisters, Mildred Sims (James) of Manning, Ora Bowers and Bertha Powell, both of Hemingway, Patricia Wright (Chris) of Sumter and Kathy Cales (Roger) of Manning. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Cypress Fork Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve McCutcheon and the Rev. Darren Squires officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Broadway, Wade Rhodus, Brody Rhodus, Trey Hartley, Pat Roberson and Michael Cales. A visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 3009 Kingstree Highway, Manning.
