WHITE CHARLESTON -- Amy Leona McClam White, 79, widow of Francis Glenn White, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Born in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Booney C. McClam and the late Colea Baker McClam. Mrs. White was a member of Rutledge Avenue Baptist Church and was the retired manager of Hancock Fabrics in Charleston. Surviving are four sons, Glenn White of Albany, Ga., Edward White of Charleston, David White of Harrisburg, N.C., and Bill White of Johns Island; a daughter, Linda Bradley of Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Anne Parker of Charleston; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Johnston officiating. Memorials may be made to the National Federation of the Blind, 1700-D Oak St., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Online condolences may be sent to www.sumterfunerals.com.
