FRICKER Posted Thursday, February 23, 2006 7:00 pm Robert D. Fricker, 70, husband of Daisy Inez Geddings Fricker, died Wednesday Feb. 22, 2006, at the Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in Harden County, Ill., he was a son of the late Howard Fricker and the late Ida Belle Roberson Fricker. Mr. Fricker was a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant and a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Woodmen of the World, the VFW and the Elks Club. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; a son, Bobby Dean Fricker and wife, Cindy, of Sumter; a daughter, Shelean Hodge and husband, Lonnie, of Sumter; three brothers, Gene Fricker, Ken Fricker of Illinois and Russell "Bo" Fricker of Kentucky; four sisters, Della Ramsey of Jacksonville, Fla., Roberta Haynes of Chicago, Ill., Linda Smith of Rosie Clear, Ill. and Carolyn Graham of Indiana; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Iley Geddings, Leon Geddings, Bob Sisson, Carl Parson, Ricky Geddings, and Johnny Geddings. Honorary pallbearer will be Bob Jewal. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 60 Fricker Lane.
