| HIST | LARRY CRAIG CROLLEY Posted Tuesday, November 22, 2022 6:00 am Larry Craig Crolley, 81, widower of Marie Timmons Crolley, died on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Born on May 26, 1941, in Camden, he was a son of the late Colin Charles "C.C." Crolley and Mamie Jones Crolley. He was a member of Alice Drive Baptist Church and was the owner and operator of Craig Industries. He enjoyed watching Westerns, auto racing and collecting cars. Survivors include two daughters, Belinda C. McCrea of Lake City and Tammy C. Achziger (Harvey) of Sumter; grandchildren, Jay Ashley McClary (Ashleigh), Leigh McCrea Johnson (Justin), Lauren Marie McCrea (Elder Hucks) and McLean Achziger; great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Johnson and Grady McClary; two sisters, Sharon Clyburn (Louis) of Camden and Karon Brunson of Ridgeway; a special friend, Jeanette Jordan; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Marie Crolley. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Alice Drive Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Clay Smith officiating. Private burial will be held in the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery near Scranton. Pallbearers will be Glenn Rogers, Ted Crolley, Phil Kirlis, Benny Timmons, James Goodman, Jay Norwood, Brian Marturano and Eddie Scarborough. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. today at Alice Drive Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Alice Drive Baptist Church Pocalla Campus, 1305 Loring Mill Road, Sumter, SC 29150.
