Sarah was born to John and Jeannette Geddings in Pelion on Sept. 15, 1940. She married Ronald Hopper at the age of 16 and they had six children. Sarah enjoyed traveling to see her loving family, crocheting, and sewing. Sarah moved to Grove from Antioch, Calif., in 1998. Sarah is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; a brother, Pete Geddings; and two sisters, Emily Rapp and Peggy Shraut. Sarah is survived by three daughters, Rose Hopper of Grove, Joyce Turner of California and Donna Hillman of South Carolina; and four sons, Don Hopper of Grove, Steve Cutler of South Carolina, and Eric Cutler and Mark Hopper, both of California. Sarah is also survived by four sisters, Barbara Miller and Carolyn Breazeal, both of Texas, and Doris Beard and Gayle Brunson, both of South Carolina; and three brothers, John Geddings, Jack Geddings and Dan Geddings, all of South Carolina. Sarah has 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren that she loved dearly. Service was held at Funeral Services of Grand Lake Chapel in Grove at 2 p.m. Saturday. Pastor M.L.
