He is survived by his wife of 66 years of Manning; a son, Dickie DuWayne Potter Jr. (Barbara) of Sumter; a daughter, Gwen P. Harvin (Percy) of Summerton; three grandchildren, Hope Harvin, Tripp Harvin and Stephanie Roberts; two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Lorelei; and an uncle, Billy Frank of Sumter. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday at Paxville Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Paxville Baptist Church Building Fund, 10278 Lewis Road, Manning, SC 29102.
