EUNICE A. WEBB
NORTH CHARLESTON - Eunice Amerson Webb, 78, wife of Charles Webb, died on Friday, May 29, 2009 at Roper Hospital in Charleston.
Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Roy Joseph and Vermell Player Amerson. Mrs. Webb was a very active and valued member of Northwoods Baptist Church in North Charleston.
Survivors, besides her husband of 55 years, include three sons, Phil Webb (Karen) of Sumter, Ronald Webb of Richmond, Va. and Donald Webb (Belinda) of Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren, Beth Webb Lawrence, Donald Webb, Jr., Journey Webb, Emily Webb and Alexander Webb; a great-granddaughter, Gwendolyn Lawrence; a brother, Wilson Amerson (Jenelle) of Sumter; and a sister, Beatrice Bonderer of Gastonia, N.C.
Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by a son, Paul Webb.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Northwoods Baptist Church in North Charleston with Dr. Sonny Holmes officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Wells Cemetery near Bishopville.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Northwoods Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, S.C. 29406.
