| HIST | of Bishopville, South Carolina Henry B. Driggers Henry Benjamin "Benjie" Driggers, 80, husband of Grace Welch Driggers, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Born in Lee County, he was a son of the late Benjamin Lever Driggers and Sallie P. Davis Driggers. Mr. Driggers dedicated his life to the love and care of his family and to his business, Benjie Auto Sales, which he owned and operated on Main Street in Bishopville since 1963. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife; one son, Henry B. Driggers Jr.; one daughter, Deborah D. Jordan; one grandson, Steven A. Jordan Jr., all of Bishopville; one granddaughter, Lindsay G. Brazell (the Rev. Rob); one great-granddaughter, ZanaGrace Brazell; one great-grandson, Noah Benjamin Brazell, all of Lydia; one sister, Joyce D. Bramlett (Luther) of Bishopville; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Driggers. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and other times at 30 National Drive. Memorials may be made to Mt. Elon Baptist Church, P.O. Box 38, Lydia, SC 29079; or to Bishopville First Church of the Nazarene, 320 Dennis Ave., Bishopville, SC 29010. Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home of Bishopville is in charge of the arrangements.
