MANNING - Virginia Carolina Griffin and Kennerly O'Neal Jameson were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011, at New Covenant Presbyterian Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Michael Griffin of Manning, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strange and Mrs. Gladys Griffin and the late Joseph Griffin. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia in 2008 with a bachelor of arts degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Richland County School District 2 as a child development teacher. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Raymond Jameson of Bolentown, and the grandson of Mrs. Mildred Jameson and the late Russell Sims Jameson and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Clinton Kennerly. He graduated from Clemson University in 2002 with a bachelor of science degree in agricultural education. He is employed by USDA's Farm Service Agency, Columbia, as an administrative specialist. The Rev. Charles C. Tyler and the Rev. Todd G. Wermers officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Kathryn Gatlin, organist; and Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, Grant Goff and Samuel Sanders, vocalists. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Lauren Smith served as maid of honor, with Mrs. Stacy Montgomery as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Grimsley, Mrs. Susan Jameson, Margaret McMillan, Mrs. Rebecca Thompson, Elizabeth Ashby Welch and Amanda Wenk. Katherine Matthews served as junior bridesmaid, with Addison Jameson and Ava Jameson serving as flower girls. The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Anderson, Keagan Broussard, Robert Griffin Jr., Russell Jameson, William Jameson, Matthew Mixon and Craig Whisenhunt. Dylan Matthews served as junior groomsman, with Griffin McIntosh and Walker McIntosh as ring bearers. The reception was given by the bride's parents at The Cypress Center, Manning.
