| HIST | She was presented at The Lord Clarendon Cotillion Ball on 28 Dec 2006, at the Sunset Country, Sumter, South Carolina of Florence, South Carolina Gibbons-Tabor MANNING - Whitney Britton Gibbons and Ronald Lee Tabor were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Manning United Methodist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Tucker Belangia of Manning and Leslie Whitfield Gibbons Jr. of New Zion, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Clinton Britton Jr. of Manning, the late Harlean Patrick Britton, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Whitfield Gibbons Sr. of New Zion. She graduated from Francis Marion University with a bachelor of science in business management. She is employed as the membership and marketing director for The Fitness Forum, Florence. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Melvin Tabor of Manning, and the grandson of Coy Evander Green of Turbeville and the late Emily McElveen Green, Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Jackson Matthews Jr. of Manning, and the late Melvin Julian Lee Tabor, formerly of Columbia. He attended Francis Marion University. He is a professional baseball player with the Cincinnati Reds organization. The Rev. William Murray Gibbons officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Kathryn Owen Gatlin, organist; and Mrs. Jessica Smith Teal, vocalist. Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her father, the bride wore an A-line formal fitted gown adorned with ivory alencon lace applique and featuring a strapless chiffon sweetheart bodice embellished with beaded and re-embroidered lace and a semi-cathedral train. Her ivory tiered fingertip veil was accented with rhinestone trim. She carried a bouquet of hand-tied Virginia roses, peonies, hydrangea and orchids wrapped in a satin ivory ribbon. Natalie Harlean Gibbons, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Vanessa King Epps, Cecelia Jean Gibbons, Brittany Nicole Helgeson, Aiken McDowell McNair, Deborah Michelle Parker, Kristen LeeAnn Shorter, Stacy Lynn Smith and Savanna Epps Welch. Gracie Renee' Williamson served as flower girl. The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Blakely Wheeler Barron, Alexander William Blake, David Mark Bounds, Nicholas Ware Gibbons, Frederick Lloyd Huth IV, Brent Evander Sullivan, Benjamin Walker Tabor and James Ryan Williamson. Ring bearers were Ander Coker Sullivan and Grant Lane Gibbons. Also participating were Stevie Elizabeth Arrand, Katie Marie Brunson, Marianne Taylor Copelan, Anna Victoria Hamer, Mrs. Ashley Gibbons Ridgeway, Mrs. Amanda Coker Sullivan and Mrs. Sharon Miles Purvis. The reception was given by the bride's parents at The Cypress Center, Manning. The rehearsal party was held at The Breedin Garden Room, Manning.
