Posted Wednesday, December 22, 2021 6:00 am Henry Michael Miles Sr., 69, husband of Joyce Ann Coulter Miles, died on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Timmonsville, he was a son of the late Henry Preston Miles and Addie Lynette Lee Miles. Mr. Miles was a retired truck driver with Cedar Creek Timber. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; three daughters, Elizabeth Lynn McCutcheon (Kevin) of Lake City, Penny Springs (Teddy) of Rocky Mountain, Virginia, and Erica Boland (Kevin) of Sumter; two sons, Henry Michael Miles Jr. of Pamplico and Frankie Shirah (Bambi) of Sumter; two sisters, Ruth "Susie" Miles and Joyce Yarborough (William); one brother, David Ray Miles; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Chrisen Allen; and one brother, Timothy Miles. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Bible Way Holiness Church, 16 Thomas Drive, with the Rev. Brent Thigpen officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday at Bible Way Holiness Church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Aimwell Cemetery in Pamplico.
