| HIST | of Orangeburg, South Carolina Jacob Hair Zeigler Jr. Zeigler Jr., Jacob Hair Jacob Hair Zeigler Jr. ORANGEBURG - Jacob Hair Zeigler, Jr., 91, of Orangeburg, SC, died Monday, January 18, 2016. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Bull Swamp Baptist Church in North, SC, with Pastor Lane Bembenek and Rev. Bill Coates officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m., one hour before the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Arthur Bonnett, Ray Hartzog, Phillip Gulley, Billy Sanford, Bill Coates and Johnny Lee Houser. Mr. Zeigler was born in North, SC, a son of the late Jakie H. and Daisy A. Zeigler. He was married to the late Almeda A. Zeigler. Mr. Zeigler was a machinist in the Navy Seabees in World War II, a member of First Baptist Church in Orangeburg, a Deacon at the First Baptist Church in Walterboro, and a retired sales representative from Greenwood Packing Plant. Survivors include daughter, Linda Locklair (Reid); son, Buddy Zeigler (JoAnne); daughter, Deborah Bonnett (Arthur) and son, Paul Zeigler; four grandchildren, Dianna Bembenek, Jacob Locklair, Allyson Faizon and Luke Bonnett; and eleven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Thelma Goodwin, Eugene Zeigler, Wilbur Zeigler and Walter Zeigler. The family will receive friends Friday, January 22, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) of North and other times at 1575 Masters Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
