Gagne, died on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, following injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. Born in Alcolu, she was a daughter of the late Charles Pinkney Scott Sr. and Rosa Lee Dennis Scott. She attended Dalzell Baptist Church and was retired from Bi-Lo in Irmo. Rose Ann was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to all. She was an avid Gamecocks fan and showed great compassion for her precious dogs, Muffin and Lucy. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Joe, she is survived by three daughters, Susan Gregory and her husband, Ronnie, of Sumter, Jo Ann Ricard and her husband, Billy, of Lexington and Jennifer Truesdale and her husband, Jamey, of West Columbia; five grandchildren, Ronald (Joey) Gregory Jr., Michael Gregory and his wife, Sonja, Kristin Johns and her husband, Daniel, Kalyn Truesdale and Kelsey Ricard; five great-grandchildren, Cameryn, Elizabeth and Olivia Gregory and Trey and Watson Johns; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, seven brothers and her devoted fur babies, Oscar, Hercules and Izzy B. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Barnette officiating. Interment will follow in Sumter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamey Truesdale, Michael Gregory, Billy Ricard, Daniel Johns, Zane Anderson and Jakob Marlowe. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Bullock Funeral Home and other times at the family home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150. You may go to www.bullockfuneralhome.com and sign the family's guest book.
