| HIST | of Alcolu, South Carolina Nadine Braxton Posted: Saturday, May 21, 2011 6:00 am ALCOLU -- Nadine Marie Lane "Dean" Braxton, 66, widow of Lawrence Edward Braxton, died Friday, May 20, 2011, at the home of her son in Gaston. Born March 18, 1945, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late George Ellis and Laura Nadine Crosby Lane. She was a retired seamstress and she was of the Holiness faith. She is survived by a son, Tom "Tony" Judy Jr. (Suzi) of Gaston; a daughter, Peggy Barton of Holly Hill; two brothers, Ellis Lane (Peggy Sue) of Manning and Henry Beach (Barbara) of Gaston; two sisters, Annie Heatley (Billy) of Tennessee and Mary Lou Carnes (Michael) of Sumter; two granddaughters, Heather Marie Judy (Byron Barrientos) and DeeAnna Judy; a great-grandson, Wyatt Lee Barrientos, all of Gaston; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Suzee Peters of Louisville, Ky. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Turner officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Stephens Funeral Home in Manning and other times at the home of her son, 3056 Bachman Road, Gaston. Memorials may be made to Regency Hospice, 140 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 130, Columbia 29210. Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N.
