| HIST | Date Published: November 16, 2008 DIANE L. KELLEY Diane Lawson Kelley, 72, wife of Franklin Delano Kelley, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at her home. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Jasper Harold "Shorty" Lawson and Ruby Mims Lawson. Mrs. Kelley was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, a graduate of Edmunds High School and attended Converse College. She was a Sustainer in the Sumter Junior Welfare League. She was retired from Lawson's Pharmacy and was formerly employed by Dr. E. M. DuBose. Surviving are her husband of Sumter; two daughters, Vivian Ann Kelley and Gwyn Kelley Ellis, both of Sumter. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, John Ellis. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Pickens officiating.
