Burial will immediately follow at Live Oak Cemetery. Mr. Barfield was born October 27, 1952 in Sumter, SC, a son of the late Julius O’Neil Barfield, Sr and Violet Richburg Powers. He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Betty J. Barfield; three daughters, Amy Robinson (Jason), Brenda Hodges (Artie), and Tiffany Boyd; two stepsons, William Talmadge (Sandy) and Christopher Hasty (Jamie); two stepdaughters, Robin Lee and Anna Marie Hasty; one brother, Julius Barfield; two sisters, Kathryn Black and Barbara Hutson; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
