The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Phyllis S. Carmon and the late Robert Wayne Carmon, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Anita L. Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Carmon, all of Sumter. She graduated from S.C. Homeward Education Association. She is co-owner of Wayne's Cleaning Service. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bruce Roark of Sumter, and the grandson of Mrs. Ruby Nichols and the late William E. Nichols Sr. of Sumter and the Rev. and Mrs. Charles A. Roark of Scranton. He graduated from Lakewood High School. He is the owner and operator of Roark's Outdoor Services. The Rev. Tyrone Mitchum and the Rev. Jim Tanner officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by the bridegroom's father, pianist and vocalist; and Debbie Wilkes, vocalist. Escorted by her brother, Jimmy Smith, and her uncle, Joey Carmon, the bride wore a white satin A-line, strapless gown featuring a beaded inset and a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of cream and teal Gerbera daisies with pearl inserts. Crystal Chesney served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brandi Graham, April Lamb, Miranda Rivers and Kathryn McCloud. Junior bridesmaid was Madison White. Kaylee Chesney and Emily Smith served as flower girls. Matthew Reece served as best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Chan, Jimmy Parker Jr., Jeffrey Wilkes and Joshua Smith. Junior groomsman was Shane Smith. Nicholas White and Carlisle Lavender served as ring bearers. The bride's parents held the reception at the church fellowship hall. The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at the church fellowship hall.
