Brenda Darlene Barfield Hodges Aug 21, 1975 - Jul 28, 2018 suppose to be Jul 27, 2018 Sumter, SC…Brenda Darlene Barfield Hodges, wife of Archie Calvin Browder, III, died on Friday, July 27, 2018 in Palmetto Health Richland. She was born on August 21, 1975 in Sumter and was the daughter of Judith Hutchinson Barfield and the late James Anthony Barfield. She was a loving and caring mother. She was much loved by her mother and children. Surviving in addition to her mother are: three children, Selena Judith Garcia of Sumter, Brittany Michelle Hodges and Robert Delmar Hodges, Jr. both of Florida; two aunts, Jackie Hughes of Sumter and Ann Danford of Johns Island and many cousins. She was expecting her first grandchild in December. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to the family. You may go to www.bullockfuneralhome.com and sign the family’s guest book.
