DAVIS SUMMERTON - Richard Marion Davis, 74, widower of Clice Mae Corbett Davis, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at his home in Summerton. Born April 5, 1936, in Charlotte, N.C., he was a son of the late Claude and Opal Davis Davis. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church of Manning. He is survived by a son, Richard Marion Davis Jr. of Summerton; a daughter, Linda Marie Davis of Summerton; three sisters, Sylvia Ivey of Charleston, Brenda Morris of Sumter and Patricia Stutts of Round O; a grandson, Jerry "Pee Wee" (Jessica) Coker of Sumter; and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Summerton Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Bennie Turner officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stephens Funeral Home in Manning and other times at the residence, 27 Caldwell St., Summerton. Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N.
