Born March 4, 1935, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Rubin Nelson Morris Sr. and Ionie Ard Morris. She was a retired seamstress and attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Alcolu. She is survived by her husband of Alcolu; a son, William Lavern "Bill" Coker Jr. and wife, Sherry, of Alcolu; one daughter, Elizabeth Coker "Libby" Barrineau and husband, Andy, of Alcolu; a brother, Rubin N. Morris Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Alcolu; two sisters, Meree McAlister and husband, Johnny, of Sumter and Shirley Blackmon of Alcolu; six grandchildren, Kevyn Coker McDonald and husband, Brian, of New Zion, Lorre Coker Coker and husband, Pat, of Turbeville, William Lavern "Tripp" Coker III and wife, April, of Alcolu, Derek Wayne Barrineau and wife, Patricia, of Turbeville, Casey Edward Barrineau and wife, Brooke, of Alcolu and Cory Martin Barrineau of Alcolu; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, James Edward Coker. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning with the Revs. Gregg Varner and Kirk Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in Clarendon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bert Moore, Jim Kennedy and grandsons. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 9566 U.S. 301, Alcolu. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 326, Alcolu 29001, or to the Freewill Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 229, Turbeville 29162. Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N.
