| HIST | at death- she had 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren Ila Mae Brailsford Posted: Thursday, May 19, 2011 6:00 am GOOSE CREEK -- Ila Mae Moody "Dottie" Brailsford, 88, widow of John Guerry Brailsford, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Hallmark Healthcare Center in Summerville. Born Sept. 21, 1922, in Barnwell, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lillian Creech Moody. She was a retired sales clerk and was a member of Open Door Bible Baptist Church in Goose Creek. She is survived by two sons, William Moultrie Brailsford of Goose Creek and John Thomas Brailsford of Summerton; three daughters, Maria B. Camp (Johnny), Glenda A. Brailsford and Cynthia J. Weinburg (Archie), all of Goose Creek; four brothers, Jack Moody and Ronald Moody of Goose Creek, William Moody of North Charleston and Millard Moody of Charleston; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy B. Kea; and a sister, Mary Lyons. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Rogerson officiating. Burial will follow in Summerton Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Stephens Funeral Home. Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N.
