Born February 19, 1922, in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Sidney Carl Hanna and the late Everette McCullough Hanna. Mrs. Reames was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Family birthdays were special because of the "creatively" decorated cakes. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Anne Reames Deaton (Jim) of Burnsville, NC, and Charlene Reames Easterling (Bill) of Little River; seven grandchildren, Deric Rosenbaum (Melissa), Natalie Rosenbaum, Wesley Harris (Beth), Bryan Faucette, Patrick Faucette (Megumi), Julia Schrecker (Larry), and Nena Mashaw (Mark); and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Reames Faucette; three sisters; and three brothers. A celebration of life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. James E. Deaton, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bishopville. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 167, Bishopville, SC 29010. Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home of Bishopville is in charge of arrangements.
