The ceremony was performed by the bride's uncle, Henry Michael Wessinger. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Blease Wessinger of Chester, and the granddaughter of Harry James Losey and the late Mrs. Annie Robinson Losey of Camden and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Melvin Wessinger of Chester. She is a 2005 honors graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a 2008 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. She is employed as general counsel by Capitol Consultants, Inc., Columbia. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shaw Wilson Sr., and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Lathan Roddey Jr. of Sumter and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Marion Wilson, all of Sumter. He is a 2003 graduate of Clemson University Honors College with a bachelor of arts degree in history and a 2009 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law as well as the Moore School of Business where he received an international master of business administration degree. He is employed as an intellectual property attorney with Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC), Columbia. The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father. Serving as matron and maid of honor were Wrenn Faulkner Talbert and Laura Elizabeth Figueroa, respectively. Other attendants were Lisa Dianne Foster, Kristin Atkinson Heckman, Keely Barbara Lewis, cousin of the bride, Emily Jean McVann, Jennifer Caldwell Sharpe and Kathryn Harper Sligh. The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were George Leroy "Tripp" Binnicker III, Jason Kershaw Locklair, Bryan Robert McElveen, Matthew Paul Mrosek, Michael Wesley Wessinger, brother of the bride, and William Marion Wilson IV and Alexander Springs Wilson, cousins of the bridegroom. Serving as ushers were Spencer Stephen Beckman, Patrick Sinclair Scarlett, Dylan Randall Lewis and Robert McClain Thomas. A reception immediately followed the ceremony. After a send-off brunch at P.O.S.H. given by the bridegroom's aunts, Mrs. Ann Springs Wilson and Mrs. Mary Garland Roddey, the couple departed on a wedding trip to Bora Bora in French Polynesia.
