| HIST | of Manning, South Carolina Roger Dale Lamberth MANNING — Roger Dale Lamberth, 51, widower of Sarah Elizabeth Gardner Lamberth, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at his home in Manning. Born Dec. 2, 1961, in Montezuma, Ga., he was a son of the late Roy Hester Lamberth and Mary Merritt Lamberth. He was a retired auto mechanic and he was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by a sister, Gail Mathis (Jimmy); a son, Ryan Dale Lamberth; two nephews, Jamie Mathis (Amanda) and Chris Mathis (Hope); and a special friend he raised as a son, Donald Gene "Spanky" Hutson (Maria), all of Manning. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Pec Chatham officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday and other times at the residence, 3026 Arlen Road, Manning. The family would like to give a special thank you to Beebe Coker with Amedisys Hospice and to Dr. Carlos Alejo for all of their care and attention.
