The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph David Schmidt of Charleston, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Ralph White and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Azelinus Schmidt, all of Charleston. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of arts degree in early childhood education and is pursuing a master's degree in education from the College of Charleston. She is employed by Daniel Island School in Berkeley County School District. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wayne Allbritton Sr., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Donal Allbritton Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Fitch Lachicotte Jr., all of Sumter. He graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in industrial management. He is employed by Buck Management. The Rev. R. Marshall Blalock officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Dr. Beverly C. Bradley, organist; and J. Sturlin Richards, soloist. Escorted by her father, the bride wore an Anne Barge couture gown of ivory silk taffeta with a strapless, ruched drop waistline bodice, a full ball gown skirt with asymmetrical gathering and pleated flowers, a chapel-length train and a French bustle. She carried a bouquet of ivory peonies, hydrangea, open garden roses, rice flower and hand-crafted Palmetto roses wrapped with ivory satin ribbon. Jessica Danielle McGee served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Catherine Walker Jennings, Hanna Sprott Rivers, Caroline Lee Barnette, Casey Smoak Weathers, Bonnie Marie Foster and Chrissie Chapman Ormand. Ella Marie Banks and Kendra Alexis Pearsall served as junior bridesmaids. Carly Anne Banks and Sara Lynn Banks served as flower girls. The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Joshua Lee Lachicotte Allbritton, William Asa Rhody Allbritton, John Townsend Rivers IV, Charles Timothy Rowland Jr., John Frederick Deakin Jr., Ernest Bryan Caughman Jr., Joseph Andrew Schmidt and Bradley Michael Bloser. Max O'Neill Pearsall served as ring bearer. Also participating were Matthew Palmer Adams, George Anderson Mercer Willis, Clair Hill Brechbill and Anna Stephens Kohler. The reception was given by the bride's parents at The Daniel Island Club on Daniel Island. The rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom's parents at the Carolina Yacht Club in Charleston.
