The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Joe Wilson Jr. of Manning and the granddaughter of Mrs. Kay McFaddin Gibbons and the late Mr. Edward Guy Gibbons of Manning and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Joe Wilson of Alcolu. She graduated from Florence-Darlington Technical College with an Associate degree in Marketing and Management. She is employed by Clarendon Auto Parts. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Lee Davis of Manning and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Delmas Myers of Alcolu and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lee Davis of Manning. He attended the Universal and NASCAR Technical Institute. He is employed by Ervin's Tire. The Rev. Robert Morrison Jolly Jr. officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Kathy Owen Gatlin, pianist; Dr. Elizabeth Patrick DuRant, vocalist; Charleston Virtuosi, strings; and Mr. Herbert Len Brown, handbells. Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory wedding gown designed by Lillian West featuring a V-neckline, a lace bodice, lace appliques adorning the sleeves and an A-line chiffon chapel-length train. She carried a hand-gathered bouquet designed with white playablanca roses, white lisianthus, blush pink California garden spray roses, blush pink Kiera garden roses, dusty miller and silver dollar eucalyptus tied with an antique silk ribbon accented with the bride's monogram and pinned with her great-great-grandmother's cameo brooch. Miss Celia Burgess Wilson served as maid of honor, with Mrs. Macey Wilson Stokes as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Perrin Jackson Anderson, Mrs. Emily Brunson Byrd, Miss Sidney Elizabeth Coker, Miss Hannah Jean Davis and Miss Emilee Porter Davis.
