The bride is the daughter of Linda Geddings and John Geddings, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis S. Baker and the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Geddings, all of Sumter. She graduated from Laurence Manning Academy and attends the University of South Carolina Sumter. She is employed as a store manager by Blockbuster Video. The bridegroom is the son of Cynthia Davis and Bobby Lynch, both of Sumter, and the grandson of Mrs. Eliane Beard of Sumter and the late Henry Beard of Tennessee and Vertue Lynch and the late Barbara Lynch, both of Scranton. He graduated from Manning Temple Baptist. He is an airman first class in the United States Air Force stationed at Beale AFB in Marysville, Calif. The Revs. William Nichols and Raymond Tobias officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Kent Cummings. Given in marriage by her brothers, John H. Geddings III and David E. Geddings, the bride wore a delicately beaded, princess-style, strapless gown featuring a chapel-length train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink and white roses. Angela Geddings served as maid of honor, and Celeste Wilkinson served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Geddings, Barbara Barwick and Catherine Bourgeois. Lila Geddings, Alexus Wilkinson and Jillian Lynch served as flower girls. The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Eric Hudson, Bert Hudson, John Geddings and Wayne Wilkinson. Ring bearer was Randall Geddings. Also participating were Tammy Geddings, Margaret Geddings, Shelean Hodge, George Hodge and Betty Smith. The reception was held at the museum's reception hall.
