Powell, both of Sumter, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Two Ponds Duck Club. The bride is the daughter of Keith "Buddy" and Regina Osborne, and the granddaughter of Horace and Shirley Roberson and Nina S. Miles-Barnes, all of Sumter. She graduated from Laurence Manning Academy and attends the University of South Carolina Sumter. She is employed by Lucky Corner as a waitress. The bridegroom is the son of Sam and Lisa Hardin of Pinewood and James "Jimbo" and Debbie Powell of Wedgefield, and the grandson of Norman and Lorraine Franklin of Dalzell and Shirley Powell of Florida and the late Edward Powell. He graduated from Lakewood High School. He is employed by Millford Plantation in maintenance and presentation. Pastor Sammy Geddings of Wise Drive Church of the Nazarene officiated at the ceremony. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a simple but elegant veil and a strapless, A-line ivory satin gown featuring an empire waist, beaded and pearled alencon lace accenting the bodice and hemline, and vertical lace ribbon rows separating the organza inserts the entire length of the cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas and babies' breath. Holleigh Baird served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tianna Richardson, Olivia Schaller, Jessica Burr, Brittney Vining, Sarah West and Taylor Shields. Junior bridesmaids were Sullivan Beckham and Kylie Osborne.
