Born June 28, 1952, in Camden, he was a son of the late Calvin M. Jones and the late Doris Deas Jones. Survivors include two brothers, Dean Jones (Arlene) of Gable, and Fred McKellar of Dalzell; a special sister, Mona Lisa Smith of Myrtle Beach; one niece, Dallen Jones of Sumter; and special friends, Wayne Ard, Mike Overbey, Ronnie Connor, Tim Waters, and Archie Coker. A memorial gathering to celebrate Dale’s life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, at his home, 2525 Florence Highway. The Rev. Allen Johnson will officiate. Casual attire is requested. Memorials may be sent to Crosswell Childrens Home, 11 Crosswell Drive, Sumter, SC 29150. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements. [3] | |
