• Notes

  Francis and Pasquall were twins. Frank left Sumter and moved to Charleston in 1942. He worked in Charleston Ship Building and Dry Dock at the end of Calhoun Street in the Cooper River from 1942-45. He met his wife Mary Lou while working there. Frank worked for a while at Firestone Tire Store at Ann and Meeting Streets in Charleston. Next he worked at Bagwell and Elliott Auto Parts and Equipment on Meeting Street in the 50’s. He worked from 1960-1988 at H. Steenken and Company at Columbus and Meeting Streets and retired in 1988.
