Dickinson- so they must be in the correct place. jkh at death- she had 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren- who are their parents? jkh Sarah Myers Dickinson | Visit Guest Book LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, TENN - Sarah Myers Dickinson, 95, a resident of Lookout Mountain since 1952, died peacefully at her home on Monday, September 5, 2011. Mrs. Dickinson was born in Sumter County, South Carolina, and attended Winthrop and Coker Colleges. She was preceded in death by George Nelson Dickinson Jr., her husband of 65 years; sisters, Eulena Myers Mabry of Columbia, South Carolina, Mary Ella Myers Mitchell of Sumter, South Carolina; brothers, Ben Myers Jr. of Hagood, South Carolina, and Thomas Laurel Myers of Roanoke, Virginia. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, George Nelson Dickinson III and wife Sanford of Atlanta, Georgia, Thomas Carter Dickinson and wife Tennyson of Lookout Mountain; five grandchildren, Kim French of Tampa, Florida, Mary Trammell of Atlanta, Georgia, Taylor Dickinson, Carter Dickinson and Myers Dickinson of Lookout Mountain; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Carter French of Tampa, Florida. Mrs. Dickinson was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church. A memorial service was held at The Church of the Good Shepherd on Saturday, September 10, 2011,at 2:30 p.m. Interment followed the service in Harriett Caldwell Garden.
