COKER David Anthony Coker, 53, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. He was born in Sumter, a son of the late Harvey Dale Coker and Jackie Lee Oliver Coker. He was a painter, a dirt track racer, loved to boat on the Santee and loved his grandchildren. He was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God Church. Surviving are two sons, David A. "Tony" Coker Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, and Michael Andrew Coker, all of Sumter; three brothers, Clint Coker and his wife, Beth, Harvey Dale Coker and Sammie Coker and his wife, Dianne, all of Sumter; three sisters, Gloria Coker Stokes and her husband, Jack, Shirley Coker Singleton and Mary Coker Carpenter, all of Sumter; five grandchildren, Audrey Coker, Reigan Coker, Ashleigh Morton, Brittany Hughes and Haley Courtney. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Coker. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Collins officiating.
