| HIST | Date Published: October 11, 2008 MAREE N. BRADHAM Maree Nettles Bradham, 80, widow of Paul Calder Bradham, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, after an acute illness. Born in Sumter, she was the adoptive daughter of O.B. and Maree Nettles. Mrs. Bradham attended public schools in Sumter, graduating from Edmunds High School and Presbyterian Junior College in North Carolina. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She attended the Shepherd's Center activities group. Surviving are four daughters, Paula (Wilmot) McCollough, Cindy (Bobby) Benson of Sumter, Teresa (David) Nance of Lakeland, Fla., and Becky Bradham of Columbia; nine grandchildren, Margaret McCollough Schottler, Jonathan McCollough, Dr. Wesley Benson, Robert Benson, Matthew Nance, Sara Nance, Nathaniel Nance, Olivia Nance and Ephraim Nance; one great-granddaughter, Molly Schottler; one special grandson, Sam Unsworth. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Clanton and Matthew Nance officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dr. Wesley Benson, Robert Benson, Jonathan McCollough, Matthew Nance, Sam Unsworth and Pete Unsworth. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the home of her daughter, 123 Reynolds Road. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 867, Sumter, SC 29151; to The Shepherd's Center, 226 W. Liberty St., Sumter, SC 29150; or to the Wescott Acres Pet Rescue, 6005 Wescott Road, Columbia, SC 29212.
