He attended Queens College, Cambridge. In 1692, the monarchs, William and Mary, appointed him as licenser of the press, but Bohun encountered political problmes related to censorship and remained in the position for only a few months. In mid 1698, Bohun was appointed the first Chief Justice of the colony of South Carolina. [1] |
