| HIST | January 06, 2016 2:00 am Cynthia A. “Cindy” Bafe obituary Cynthia A. "Cindy" Bade, 67, of Fremont passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at Fremont Health Medical Center. Cindy was born Oct. 8, 1948, in Wahoo to Cloyd and Milre (Knutzen) Hapke. Cindy grew up in Cedar Bluffs and was a 1966 graduate of Cedar Bluffs High School. She married Daniel Bade on March 20, 1971, in Fremont. After her marriage, she moved to Fremont. She was a bookkeeper for Cash Credit Corp., Kavich's and Dr. Richard Siems’ dental office, for about 10 years. Cindy was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont. She was past president of Grant Elementary PTA and former vice president of Fremont City-Wide PTA. Survivors include: her husband, Daniel Bade; son, Steven Bade; sister, Jeanne (Lee) Jones, all of Fremont; brother, Ronald (Lynn) Hapke of Yutan; brothers-in-law, Vernon Greunke of Cedar Bluffs, David (Willa Mae) Bade of Fremont, Robert (Julie) Bade of Arvada, Colo., Sam (Barb) Bade of Broomfield, Colo., and Phil (Sue) Bade of Lincoln; and sister-in-law, Kathy Bade of Orlando, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Greunke; and three infant sisters and an infant brother. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Russ McDowell will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
