| HIST | 56 Ellen Drive Date Published: November 9, 2008 CLAIRE JENKINS Claire Henderson Reynolds Jenkins, 82, widow of retired Lt. Col. Robert Maxwell Jenkins III died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at her home. Born in Buffalo, N.Y, she was a daughter of the late Joseph N. Henderson and Claire McMurray Henderson. Mrs. Jenkins was a retired school teacher at Sumter High School. Surviving are one son, Joseph Henderson Reynolds and wife Mary-Heather of Prattville, Ala; one daughter, Judith Claire Reynolds Wheaton of Erie, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home, 56 Ellen Drive. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210 or to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, 3608 Landmark Drive, #C, Columbia, SC 29204.
