Mike is survived by his brother, Stephen McLaurin Lowder and his wife Darla of Bishopville; and his half-brothers, Clayton Lowder, Jr., and James Ansley Lowder and his wife Kathy of Sumter. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews; and his partner Robin Douglas. He was predeceased by his half- sisters, Alice Lowder Robertson and Betty Jho Lowder Wallace.
