DAVE W. ALSBROOKS
Dave Wade Alsbrooks, 74, husband of Reva Fox Alsbrooks, died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at McCoy Memorial Nursing Center in Bishopville.
Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Sammie William Alsbrooks and Bertie Lee Hodge Alsbrooks.
Surviving are his wife of Sumter; two sons, Danny Alsbrooks and David Alsbrooks, both of Pinewood; four daughters, Linda Duke (Don), Peggy Hardin (Sammy) and Carol Jones (Farrell), all of Sumter, and Jennifer Thompson (Tony) of Myrtle Beach; a brother, Steve Alsbrooks (Shirley) of Sumter; fifteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Pinewood Cemetery with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home of his daughter, 80 Lucky Court.
