Sara Lee Pritchard, 70, wife of Claud Earl Pritchard, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at the Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia. Born in Darlington County, she was a daughter of the late Guyon F. Lee and the late Myrtle Hyman Lee. Mrs. Pritchard was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was a very active member of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are her husband of Sumter; two sons, Kenny Pritchard and Dennis C. Pritchard, both of Sumter; a daughter, Ginger Pritchard Braswell of Sumter; five brothers, Guyon Lee Jr. and Tommy Lee, both of Darlington, Donnie Lee of Baltimore, Md., Larry Lee of Fort Mill, and Ralph Floyd of Florida; a sister, Elease Wilson of Darlington; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. Lee and Frank Lee. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert N. Rivers officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Eastern Star rites. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 716 Cardinal St. Online condolences may be sent to www.sumterfunerals.com.
