Lester Hutchinson and Jennie Singleton Hutchinson Campbell. Mr. Hutchinson attended the Calvary Nazarene Church. He was retired from the Air Force and Civil Service at Shaw Air Force Base. He was a World War II veteran and a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Lahmann Hutchinson; three daughters, Jacqueline Kay Hughes of Charleston, Ann Danford of Columbia and Judy Barfield of Lancaster; a sister, Virginia Mellette Capper of the Isle of Palms; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Elmore-Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. G. W. Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Sumter Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Calvary Nazarene Church. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight. She was born May 6, 1870, in Steinbeck, Germany, and was married in November, 1891, at Freinolda, Germany. She came to this country in 1902 and was naturalized as an American citizen in 1912 at which time she moved to this vicinity. She was a member of the German Lutheran church. ¶ Survivors include six children; Mrs. Louise Lahmann of Fremont, Nebraska, Mrs. Martha Lahmann and Mrs. Bertha Lahmann of Scribner, Nebraska. Karl Ruehl Jr. and Fred Ruehl of Wellington, (Colorado), and Mrs. Helen Snider of North Hollywood, California; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. ¶ Funeral arrangements are being made by the Blythe-Hollowell mortuary.
