HARTSVILLE -- Funeral services for Norma Lee Burke Fann, 73, will be held at noon Friday at Kelleytown Baptist Church. The Rev. Rod Elliott will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home is serving the family.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Friday prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210, or Kelleytown Baptist Church Building Fund, 2609 Kelleytown Road, Hartsville, SC 29550.
Mrs. Fann died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009. Born in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Hillard and Chessie Truluck Burke. She was a very dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, friend and Christian. She was a member of Kelleytown Baptist Church, Sunday school teacher and choir member. In addition to her church, she enjoyed golfing, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Paul M. Fann of Hartsville; daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Bobby Edwards of Hartsville; sister, Peggy Samotis of Lexington; brother, William Burke of Sumter; granddaughter, Rhonda and Alan Wilkerson of Hartsville; and great-grandchildren, Parker and Lakyn Wilkerson of Hartsville.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Burke; and sister, Gloria Lavangie.
